Hello everyone!
I'm what you might call a band-waggoner. If everyone else is doing it, I might as well do it too. My friend, Robbie, has a blog and he even has other people who read it! My absolute favorite blog is Wil Wheaton's. He writes a lot about poker, which I don't really care about, but I really enjoy just reading his writing. There's sense of connection because he is, afterall, Just a Geek.
Anyway, a little bit about me. I'm 35 and currently living in the great state of Oregon with my two cats, Aspen (grey) and Lucy (black).
I work as a chemist for a large-ish biotech company. I just bought my first house, ever, and so far it's been a fun experience. It's nice to know that there's a place I can go to and do whatever I want to whenever I want to.
I also am part of a podcast that I'm very proud of. It's called The Signal and is totally dedicated to anything relating to the unfortunately cancelled television show, Firefly and to campaign for a sequel to the movie Serenity - both from writer/directon Joss Whedon. The crew that works on the podcast is pretty large in comparison to other podcasts, but we all work together really well and the quality of our show is excellent. I highly recommend you check it out if you have the time.
Anyway, that's enough about me for now and I hope to be able to share more interesting tidbits with you and the rest of the world in the time to come.
